Tommy’s Margarita originated at Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant in San Fransisco.
Ingredients:
.75 oz Agave simple syrup
1 oz Fresh lime juice
2 oz Reposado tequila
Combine all ingredients with ice and shake. Serve over a large rock in a short heavy glass.

I idea of using only 100% agave tequila, a newly available agave/based sweetener instead of the classic triple sec or the most modern “sour mix” and only using lime juice straight out of freshly squeezed limes is a Devine combination than honors the spirit of Agave and the hard work and years of care and attention required to produce Tequila. This revelation has traveled all over the world through cocktail bars and changed the way we drink tequila as a people, and the world is better for it.
